Description: The correct title of the film - the land area, the birthplace. It's a few stories from the life of one area that has disappeared from the maps of land - funny, sad, incredible, touching. First, a miracle happened - Dr. Roth, exhaling cigarette smoke, brought back to life a little Imre. The joy and fun disappear when the war comes here. Then come the new times and all promise happiness and equality, but soon a new regime will destroy the best. It is becoming deserted. People disappear, the birds and the beasts of the forest. History of the region completes the fate Imry poacher, who all his life to set traps and trap cut short his life.

Martin Szulik

Actor, writer and director. His film "The Garden" won five awards of Czech and Slovak critics "Czech Lion" awards in Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and other festivals around the world. The film "Landscape" was nominated for selection in the nomination "Best Foreign Film" award "Oscar". The film "City of the Sun" won six of Slovak national awards, "Sun Online". Since 2000, took a number of successful documentaries. He teaches at the Faculty of Film and Television Academy of Arts in Bratislava.
